The accommodation at Grieves Cottage includes
a spacious lounge with inglenook fireplace which
provides an ideal setting for a social gathering
at the end of a long and active day spent exploring
the Estate. There is a large, well-equipped
kitchen allowing informal meals to be taken
family-style around the refectory table, or
a separate, more formal, dining room. French
doors open out from the kitchen into a delightful
enclosed garden, providing a beautiful setting
for casual dining on warmer days.
Grieves Cottage sleeps six guests in total
and the sumptuous master suite with bedroom,
dressing area and bathroom provides a spacious
sanctuary. A further double bedroom with en-suite
bathroom and twin bedroom with family bathroom
are all tastefully decorated, with traditional
fabrics and fine antiques creating a cocoon
of comfort and a relaxing ambience in which
to fully escape the hum of modern living. However,
for those who do need to stay in touch with
the outside world, broadband and satellite television
are available. Bedrooms benefit from the finest
duvets, pillows, cashmere blankets and Egyptian
cotton linens, whilst bathrooms feature super-luxe,
heavyweight towels and bespoke toiletries.
Dogs are not allowed within the property but
heated kennels are available on site.
